Water Gems are doing a walk from Dirleton to Nunraw to raise money for the Maggies Centres in memory of our esteemed colleague and dear friend Nigel Gray.If anyone would like to join us, we are meeting at Dirleton this Saturday, the 3rd of May, at 9am.Nigel possessed a remarkable ability to establish meaningful connections with colleagues, clients and members of the passing public, including their canine companions.It just so happens that the last project Nigel completed before his passing was our Maggies Forth Valley project, which he made an amazing job of.Through working at multiple Maggies centres over recent years Water Gems have seen first hand and understand the amazing work Maggies do to help people through their most difficult times. All Maggies staff and volunteers go above and beyond in providing comfort and support in beautiful peaceful places.We would like to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause. so, please give as little or as much as you are able.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. We regret to inform you that our esteemed colleague and dear friend, Nigel Gray, passed away peacefully at his home last Sunday morning following a brief battle with cancer.Nigel was an integral member of the Water Gems family, and his passing has left us with a profound sense of loss and sorrow. His meticulous project planning and dedication to mentoring younger team members made him an invaluable asset to Water Gems Nigel possessed a remarkable ability to establish meaningful connections with colleagues, clients, and even members of the general public, including their canine companions. We understand that many of you would like to pay your respects and bid a final farewell to Nigel.
